What is a digital menu board?
A digital menu board is a TV that shows your menu instead of a printed sign. With Letrero you edit the menu on your phone and every screen updates within about a second, so prices, specials and sold-out items are always right.
What kind of TV do I need?
Any TV running Android TV or Google TV, or any TV with a Google TV or Android TV streaming device plugged into HDMI. Samsung and LG smart TVs don't run Android TV apps, so add a streaming device to them. You install the Letrero app once with the free Downloader app (type the code 1076593), then pair it with your phone.
How much does a digital menu board cost?
Letrero is $7, $12 or $25 a month per account, or two months free when you pay yearly. You bring the TV. There's no hardware to buy from us and no setup fee.
Do I need a computer or a media player?
No. You build and change menus from your phone or any browser, and the TV app plays them by itself. Nothing else needs to stay plugged in.
What happens if the internet goes out?
The TV keeps showing the last menu it received and reconnects on its own. Changes you made in the meantime show up as soon as it's back.
Do I need to design anything?
No. Pick a layout and a theme and Letrero sizes everything to fit the screen. Add your own photos, or leave them out for a clean text board.
Can I show breakfast and lunch menus at different times?
Yes. On Standard and Pro you schedule each menu by day and hour, like breakfast from 6 to 10:30 or 15% off lunch on weekdays from 11 to 4, and the TV switches on its own.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with 14 days free. A card is needed to start, but you won't be charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime from your dashboard.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Every plan comes monthly or yearly, and yearly costs ten months' price, so two months are free. You can switch from your dashboard anytime.
Can I run more than one location?
Yes. Pro covers up to three locations, each with its own menus and screens, and you can copy a menu from one to another.
